Spring Meadow Cards- Set of four cards
Set of four Spring Meadow all purpose note cards. The image on the note cards are reproductions of an original acrylic landscape painting, Spring Meadow, on masonite board.
The inspiration for this piece was a meadow of colourful flowers and grass, and a natural movement that I sought to capture. The best way to create movement is to emphasize big strokes and overlap them in different directions. I have for the most part been using brushes over any other painting tool, yet when I went to pick up my brush, the palette knife sitting on the table amidst the other brushes called to me. I decided to follow my instinct and I am very pleased I did. This painting not only captures the movement and the colours of a meadow, but expresses a sort of peaceful longing.
You will receive a set of four note cards (4 x 5.5 inches) with four white envelopes.These note cards (4" x 5.5") are inspiring, unique and perfect for any occasions, birthdays, weddings, gifts, notes, thank you cards ..., they can also be framed or displayed.
The original painting, Spring Meadow, has been sold, it is no longer available for purchase.
